Well as I play around… I had to have a presence here… to see if there is anyway to double expose the Blue Fusion…. NO I AM NOT STARTING A NEW CLUB…..

I found that you can use the Google Gadget for Youtube in Lively and I grabbed Cylindrian’s Video, produced and filmed by Clanman Burns of 2ndVision Productions.

Just do a search in Places for Blue Fusion - it is open to the public if you want to try it out…

Ok… so after my last posting… I talked Cylindrian to come into Lively to play around a bit!

DID I SAY NEVER GONNA REPLACE SECOND LIFE? Seriously… funny… but soooo limited… I put a shirt on… and my skin changed color, Cyl could not find long hair that was curly…

Most importantly, you can not add streams for playing live, there is a place to add music, but they have to be 512k?? I tried to look up help to understand what format would support such a small media file… and there is nothing on it… ok… well glad I have tried it now!!

Oh there is also animation and sound replacements for words, if you type, hahaha (any format) LOL, or laugh my avatar started going into convulsions and slapping her knees… OMG… crazynutz!

WE LOOK LIKE THE BRATZ DOLLS… STOP!!!!! LOL

Well I did it… I tried out Google’s Lively, the new Virtual World that loads in a web browser.  It is odd….. not a lot of control over your avatar… but at least I could be a blond in Lively, as appose to my experience in Active Worlds, where I had to be a brunette, NO assimilation there!

In Lively I have not figured out how to customize a room, I did create a Blue Fusion Room, just to play around… very interesting… I gave it a run way template since it was the only one I could find that was Blue…. lol

Here is a pic of me (oh and I am SOOOO lucky no one had taken my name, there are so many stories of people losing their names to someone else in Lively)

I like that you can use it in your web browser, though the navigation is sure to cause me carpel tunnel using my laptop touch pad or track point. I also lost my control buttons in the browser and had to reload the web page. You can shop via a website, don’t have any concept for money there… seems as if it really is a concept in the works, right now everything seems free.  The inventory is very broken down and tightly structured, a plus and a minus.

I did go to a few “Popular” rooms and talked to people there… but there was not a lot of interaction.  Not really sure how the PG vs Mature is managed yet either.  It really felt like I was in a room of kids, that worries me quite a bit too.  When I setup the account… there was NOTHING asking me my age, however, I already had the name registered under my Google account… not sure if there is a connection there.

Lively is interesting, but don’t expect me to give up my beloved although frustrating at times, Second Life!!

Tonight - srv4u Conacher, stage name “Da Bluez Preacher” plays a high energy electric mix of standard blues and gospel blues. The standards include artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, BB King, and the like. The gospel songs are high energy favorites,and he also has a 11 song cd out of original material which are quite popular at the shows. He usually has a bass player with him, Twinky Jinxing, and he also sometimes run solo using a techinque called “live looping”. All the shows are high energy electric blues and very crowd interactive.

Well I have to mention this one particular island.  Not only for the parks and the streams, not just because this man is a good friend of mine, that I respect and care for deeply, but because of the serenity and beauty that the island brings.

A must see… and with home sites available, Byte Island gives you so much more than just parcel of land.  There are gardens, swings, waterfalls, interactive animals, couples dances and cuddle places, and beautiful paths all around the island that make the experience something so wonderful and special.

My word for the day is Creative Decadance and this island personifies the meaning.

I have to tell you.. this is one of the best interviews and I am so proud of Jonathan and all of his hard work, his persistence and creativity .  His art breaks the boundries and constraints of what we know of digital art, by extending the wonders of Second Life building tools and scripts.

Jonathan use to be a host at the Blue Fusion and then went on to open the Gallery Blue and was our Gallery Manager. Johnathan was employee #3 at the Blue Fusion and we are so proud of him!!  His decision to move on from the Blue after over a year, gave him the freedom to blossom his creativity and soul in his art work!
